Terms and Conditions of Booking
Payment
Online bookings (credit or debit cards):
Payment in full is required as soon as your booking is confirmed. This may be at time of booking (for 'instant' tours) or as soon as confirmation is made after you place your booking. Payment is possible by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) or debit card (Delta). All payments will be debited from your card in the currency selected. In the case of failed credit card transactions we reserve the right to cancel unpaid services and all vouchers will be null and void.
Offline bookings (bank transfer or Sterling GBP cheque):
Your booking will be held on option for 7 days after confirmation of services (or until 48 hours within arrival if booking within 9 days) by which time we must be in receipt of cleared funds. You may pay us by using the following methods:
- 1) By sterling cheque (UK pounds only) payable to 'Asla Ltd.' - suitable for clients in UK only.
- 2) By bank transfer (in USD, GBP or EUR)
Credit Card Security
On the advice of our credit card authorisation company, we are occasionally required to request a signed credit card authorisation form and a photo copy of your passport for identification purposes. This measure is in place for your own security and protection against fraudulent use of credit cards.
Internal flights, Rail and Sightseeing
When providing any internal flights, Rail or Sightseeing we are acting as agents to the principal. Please refer to your voucher for details.
Cancellations
Cancellation are charged as follows (in selected currency):
- Up to 29 days prior to arrival: 25% of total tour cost
- 28 to 15 days prior to arrival: 50% of total tour cost
- Less than 15 days prior to arrival: 100% of total tour cost

Arrival is defined as 14.00hrs on day of arrival in hotel (local time).
All cancellations must be notified to Select-a-tour.com in writing and acknowledged by us to the customer.
Delivery fees:
Onward rail and air tickets (sold separately and not part of the tour package) should be collected from our local offices. Delivery to central hotel can be made for an additional 25 USD / 18 EUR / 15 GBP. Delivery to airports/rail station incurs the applicable transfer fee + 25 USD / 18 EUR / 15 GBP. Courier deliveries will be quoted on a current fee basis.
Booking Deadlines
Select-a-tour.com is able to accept online bookings up to 3 working days prior to tour departure, subject to availability of the tour, subject to full prepayment by credit card.
Additional Hotel Charges
You must make payment for all services that are not included on your voucher (e.g. meals, phone call charges, laundry and mini-bar) directly to the hotel prior to check out.
Errors
Select-a-Tour cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of incorrect dates or data input by the client. It is your responsibility to supply the correct dates and information for all services requested.
Consent
By consenting to our terms of booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
Passports and Visas
Passports and visas are your responsibility.

- RUSSIA
- Visas are required for ALL travellers to Russia.
- UKRAINE
- Visas are NOT required for nationals of EU, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Japan
- ESTONIA
- Visas are NOT required for nationals of the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland Australia New Zealand USA Canada, nationals of South Africa when holding a visa for Latvia or Lithuania.
- LATVIA
- Visas are NOT required for nationals of EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, USA, Canada.
- LITHUANIA
- Visas are NOT required for nationals of EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Australia New Zealand, USA, Canada.
- ROMANIA
- Visas are not required for nationals of EU, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia.
General Information - Most countries require that your passport is valid for a minimum of six months after exit and has at least one blank page.
Please check with your own local consulate for up-to-date visa requirements.
Please note that only the applicable Consulates have the authority to grant visas and the granting of a visa is entirely at their discretion. Failure to obtain a visa will result in cancellation charges.
For UK based clients, we also offer a postal visa service to obtain Russian visas.
Force Majeure
Select-a-Tour.com shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations which results directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance which is beyond its reasonable control. Without limit to the generality of the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as such circumstances: acts of God, outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, revolution, the act of any government or authority), fire, flood, lightning, explosion, fog or bad weather, interruption or failure of a utility service (including but not limited to electricity, gas, water or telecommunications), renovations undertaken by the hotel, or strikes.

If you fail to provide your correct email address and telephone number with country code, we cannot be held responsible for your failure to receive documents and messages concerning the status of your reservation. We reserve the right to cancel reservations when we are unable to contact you if necessary.
