02 February 2011 — Information on Meal Basis At Discount Hotels on Select-a-room.com

Some of our clients have recently asked us about the meal basis in the hotels we offer.

When you run a search on Select-a-room.com we list the inclusions for each hotel.

Bed and breakfast and room-only are pretty clear; Half-Board means that we include evening meal, bed and breakfast. Full Board means 3 meals daily - breakfast lunch and dinner are included. All inclusive means all 3 meals plus drinks - this applies to many of our resort hotels.

All prices are per room and not per person and include taxes unless specified on the search.

Note: a small number of hotels in Russia and Ukraine charge a small booking fee - also specified when you book.

We are pleased to advise that we have added a new tool on our Select-a-room.com hotel home-pages to translate descriptions into over 50 new languages - we hope it helps our customers to find the right hotel!

We have great prices and availability for our popular river crusie between Moscow and St Petersburg along the Volga River. Our tried and tested programmes remain pretty much as for 2010 with full board and basic sightseeing included - additional excursions are available at additional cost, payable locally. Our local on-board representatives will take care of your every need - 24 hour support guaranteed! We have had excellent feedback in 2010 and are looking forward to continuing our excellent relationship with the crew on board! This is an English-speaking ship.

We sell the cruise only for our clients as customers book from all over the world - we do not handle flight bookings. Customers usually arrange Russian visas and flights locally prior to travel. For UK clients we offer a full visa service through our dedicated visa department. We are pleased to arrange arrival and departure transfers upon request as they are not included in our prices.
