Your Tour Itinerary


Day One

Arrival in Moscow. Transfer to the 3 star Cosmos Hotel for check in. Buffet dinner at Kalinka restaurant in the hotel.


Day Two

Breakfast in the hotel. At 10.00 am meet your English speaking guide at reception for the Moscow panoramic city tour, including a visit to the Novodevichy Convent. Afternoon free time.


Day Three
Part of the Kremlin, MoscowPart of the Kremlin, Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel. Today includes a tour of Moscow’s famous Kremlin, including a visit to one of the Cathedrals and the Armoury Chamber. Free time. In the evening transfer to the Yaroslavsky railway station. Departure for Yekaterinburg by train #16 at 16.50 hours (local time).


Day Four

Arrival in Ekaterinburg at 20.17 hours (local time). Transfer to Hotel Richmond or Park-otel. Check in for 2 nights.


Day Five

Breakfast at hotel. At 10.00 hours meet with your English speaking guide for a panoramic city tour of Ekaterinburg including the Mineralogical Museum, Europe-Asia Border Obelisk and in the afternoon, the Romanov Family tour.


Day Six

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time to explore the city on your own. Transfer to railway station. Rooms are booked until late check out. Departure for Irkutsk by train #2 at 01.31 hours (local time).


Days Seven and Eight

Boarding and on the train. There are various stops along the route where you may alight (quickly!) to enjoy the local flavour of these remote towns.


Day Nine

Arrival in Irkutsk at 06.14 hours (local time). Breakfast (off train). Today includes a panoramic city tour of Irlutsk. Transfer to Listvyanka settlement with stop in Taltsy village for lunch and visit of open air Ethnographic museum. Check in for 1 night at Legend of Baikal Hotel in Listvyanka.


Day Ten

Breakfast at the hotel. Today enjoy a Walking tour of Listvianka. Transfer to railway station. Departure for Ulan-Bator by train #362 at 21.50 hours (local time).

Day Twelve
Gandan Monastery - UlaanbaatarGandan Monastery - Ulaanbaatar

Arrival in Ulan-Bator at 06.10 hours (local time). Breakfast (off the train). Drive with your guide to the Terelj National Park. Explore turtle rock and visit a nomadic family to learn of their amazing life style. Lunch is included. Horse riding options are available. 1 night in a Yurt camp. (Nomad’s hut)


Day Thirteen

Breakfast in camp. Here we have a City tour, which includes visits to the Gandan monastery, the Natural museum, Bogd Khan’s Winter Palace, Zaisan Hill and Sukhabaator square. Lunch is included.
1 night at 3 star Hotel Edelweiss.


Day Fourteen

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning transfer to railway station.
Departure for Beijing on Train #4 at 08.05 hours (local time).


Day Fifteen

Arrival in Beijing at 14.04 hours (local time).
Transfer for 1 night at 4 star Beijing Novotel Xin Qiao Hotel. Free time.


Day Sixteen

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport for your onward flight/flight home.

  • EUR 2397 per person. Based on two persons sharing twin accommodation/2nd class cabin

  • EUR 408 single supplement (hotels only)

  • EUR 685 per person rail upgrade to 1st class 2 berth cabin based on two sharing**

  • **Train #362 – there are only 2nd class 4-berth compartments, passengers upgrading to 1st class are provided with separate compartment for 2 pax. There is no dining car in this train.

  • EUR 145 per person supplement for Full board on train #2 (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

  • EUR 78 per person supplement for Half Board on Train #2 (breakfast and dinner).

  • There are no showers on the trains, only basic facilities.

  • Singles - sorry, we do not operate a shared room scheme for single travellers.

  • Visa support - is supplied for duration of tour only. Extension of Russian visa support costs EUR 20 per person.
